To meet a growing organizational need for more impactful and strategic data analytics — and to help prepare the next generation of leading data scientists — the Cockrell School of Engineering’s Operations Research and Industrial Engineering graduate program has established the Center for Engineering and Decision Analytics (CEDA). The center aims to assist businesses and organizations in analyzing their data to its fullest potential, pushing these organizations to think more creatively about data analytics and helping them to maximize their growth opportunities.
In addition, through hands-on training and educational opportunities, graduate students in the center will be exposed to a wide range of challenging decision analytics problems. CEDA will work collaboratively with industry professionals not only to ensure that educational offerings are relevant to industry needs, but also to develop innovative solutions to their complex data analytics problems.
