Fall 2024 Information Sessions for ORIE Applicants
Attend an online information session to learn about ORIE program requirements, funding opportunities, and how to strengthen your application. Prospective PhD and MS applicants are encouraged to attend.
We are hosting two information sessions in Fall 2024. RSVP is required. The sign-up sheet will close one business day before the session.
- Information Session 1 - Thursday, September 26 - 12pm-1pm CST
- Information Session 2 - Thursday, October 17 - 12pm-1pm CST
Those who sign-up will receive the Zoom link on the day of the event.

Application Information for Discover ORIE for Prospective Graduate Students
Discover ORIE will provide a select group of prospective students with an opportunity to learn about the resources and opportunities available for ORIE graduate study at UT Austin. You will attend seminars, interact with faculty members, and meet current ORIE graduate students. A tentative schedule can be found here. Note that this schedule is subject to change. A final schedule will be emailed to accepted applicants in September 2024. The event is free of charge for invited students.
Applications for Discover ORIE 2024 will be accepted until September 16.
